Domen Prevc won in the first world cup tournament of the 2016/2017 season in Kuusamo, Finland. It was another fantastic day for the Slovenian ski jumping despite Peter Prevc’s fall in his second jump. After first jump (138.5 m) Domen was on the 4th place. DOMEN’S NEW RECORD!

Domen Prevc in a great style won the qualification in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany with a new hill record – 148m. The old hill record (145m) was set in 2001 by Sven Hannavald. It was a great qualification for the Slovenians ski jumpers. Jurij Tepes landed on 138.5m and finished second with 133.6 pts and Robert Kranjec was 8th with 137m and 121.1 pts.   Here is Domen’s record jump

Fantastic performance of the Slovenian team in Holmenkollen, Oslo. Prevc brothers, Robert Kranjec and Jurij Tepes won the World Cup with with 977.7 pts. Domen (126m) and Peter Prevc (130m) led the Slovenian team to win over Norway which came second and Japan which was third. Robert Kranjec and Jurij Tepes did well and their longest jumps were 127m and 126m respectively.
